KEVIN JOE ESTES
Kevin Joe Estes, 27, of 119 Oliver Drive, Richmond, formerly of Winchester, died at 12:05 a.m. Monday May 30 2005, at the University of Kentucky Medical Center, Lexington, from injuries sustained in a motorcycle accident in Madison County.
A native of Clark County, he was the son of Brenda P. Wasson Estes Haggard and the late Richard Lee Estes Sr., and the stepson of Jerry Haggard, Richmond. He was a master electrician for Paulen Electrical Co., a 1995 graduate of George Rogers Clark High School and attended Mt. Zion Christian Church.
Additional survivors include three brothers and two sisters-in-law, Richard and Fonda Estes Jr. and Darren K. and Angie Estes, Winchester, and Les Estes, Lexington; a stepbrother, Jeffery Haggard, Richmond; a stepsister, Kimberly King, Louisville, five nephews, two nieces and several aunts, uncles and cousins.
Services will be conducted at 1 p.m. Thursday at Rolan G. Taylor Funeral Home by Rev. Dale Adams. Burial will be in Clarmont Memorial Gardens.
Pallbearers will be Tyson Flannery, Aaron Stewart, Chris King, Terry Napier, Kevin Warner, Paul Howard and Wade McGinnis; honorary, Carlton Taylor, Elwood Everman, Randall Kiser, Will Griggs, Daniel Fox, Nathan Rader and co-workers at Paulen Electrical Co.
